HOW TO USE THE ORDINARY PRODUCTS ? SKINCARE ROUTINE

ORDINARY SKINCARE ROUTINE

Good day, SIS. This article is dedicated to all of the unusual goods that I looked into and discovered to have the results that I had long hoped for, as promised. Since your skin is continually exposed to environmental aggressors like pollution and temperature fluctuations, it is important to take care of it. In particular, your face has to be properly cared for according to your skin type. Your skin will glow and be healthy with the appropriate skincare products, regardless of whether it is dry, oily, or acne-prone.

I'm going to now demonstrate to you the items that I personally used and saw effects from after utilizing them for a month.

Most products only have one or two components per composition. There are other compounds originating from plants, but these are biochemically created chemicals. Only what is necessary to make the mixture useable is included in the other components; there are no extra scents or texture-improving additives.

Additionally, these are not cheap ingredients! They are reputable and well-known resources in the cosmetics sector.

How should I select The Ordinary goods?

- Choose what you require:

The Ordinary products don't employ ranges as we're used to in traditional face care; instead, they function by components that address specific skin requirements (dry skin range, anti-aging range, etc.). All of a sudden, the products of the brand start to resemble treatments.

Masks and cleansers are not yet widely available.

A list of The Ordinary items, organized by need:

Here are a few guidelines:

- Use a maximum of three serums at once (it can be 3 different in the morning of the evening wink).

Apply water-based textures (lotion, non-oily serums) first, then the more "fatty" textures on top of those (oily serum, oils, creams).

- Since their benefits will be negated when taken together, we advise against using a niacinamide-containing product and a vitamin C-containing product (we can quite use one in the morning and the other in the evening, just not in the same routine). (I'm not so convinced about this claim, which is recognized on The Ordinary's website, after conducting some research on the subject.) They appear to have been based on a study that has since been widely challenged, therefore I invite you to conduct your own research on the subject and come to your own conclusion. (wink)

It is not advised to use acids and retinol at the same time if you have sensitive skin, but you may switch off every other evening without any issues (which is what I do). While retinol promotes the regeneration of skin cells from the inside out, without exfoliating, and acids exfoliate the skin's surface, respectively, these two chemicals exert a lot of pressure on the skin simultaneously, which may be too much for thin or sensitive skin.

Remember to wear enough sun protection during the day with all treatments (I heard that The Ordinary is working on its own wink formula).

With this little explanation, I aim to help you see things more clearly.

Just in case you're interested, I used the following products:

- I use a 5% caffeine solution with EGCG around my eyes.

- I use "Buffet" in the morning and/or evening as a complete anti-aging serum.

- A moisturizing serum I use in the morning and/or evening is Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5.

- Niacinamide 10% + Zinc for anti-aging and smoothing characteristics; I use it more at night.

- Advanced Retinoid 2%, which I apply four evenings a week for its anti-aging resurfacing effects.

- 2 percent Salicylic Acid Solution When I need it, I apply it to the afflicted areas to have a purifying effect.

- Rose Hip Seed Oil, which I use under my night cream in the evening for its nourishing and anti-aging properties
